Vira - Sailboat rebuild, Irwin Citation 34

  Things are done since  11/28/22 Front cabin walls (hull sides), put 1/2" neoprene isolation. Rebuilt front cabin headliner Repaired front cabin hatch (more attention required) Pressurized fresh water piping completely redone. Including hot water priming valve and connection between tanks.   Head walls filleting to shower pan and walls painting Roulette cabinet door made ind installed. Starboard side bulkhead between engine compartment removed de-laminated glass Backstay chain plate replaced, backer plate added.   Installed holding tank back and new black water hoses, check air hose    Re-glassed very aft bulkhead and lateral wall which keeps ruder turn blocks.   Starboard cockpit locker area, re-glassed de-laminated hull layer structure. Looks like hull was originally reinforced in docking area by Irwin, but it was done over gelcoat layer. Install cockpit locker walls and painted locker inside.   Things are done since  9/25 Cockpit drains replaced. Re-setup fixed window (it was not bonded well) Engine room ventilation hose and scoops mounted New VHF/AIS antenna and cable replaced  New LED spreader lights installed. Day Water tank leakage repaired (osmosis, leaking crack in a bottom) Main water tank repaired (bad osmosis and hole in bottom)  Both tanks re-coated inside with special portable water 2 component coating. New HDPE lids made and installed to both fresh water tanks to make water tanks safe. Water level sensor added to main and day fresh water tanks.  Stanchions repair finished, all filled with poly resin and rubber plugged from bottom, then reinstalled. New dynema lifelines installed. one piece still need to be replaced. A/C in and out collector boxes, air outlet boxes and duct work. Front cabin cabinet structure rebuilt around AC.     Progress report What is done. [Rigging] forestay repaired.  I have cut damaged part of a stay and added 4 inch connection plates between front chain plate and turnbuckle, fuller construction give me this space. Solution is temporary will replace stay later. [Rigging] ALL chainplates and on spreader connectors cut and banded to shape. still require couple weld points. [Sails] Sails [cleaned, Genoa fixed, all ready to sail]  [Sails] Furler repaired and reinstalled. [Sails] Genoa set on furler. [Sails]Main returned on the boom. [Deck] Install new port Windows [interior] Finish Plywood panels installed on cabin top sides (interior) [Navigation] Install new Antenna and replaced Antenna cable [Navigation] Installed new windex. [Comfort] Marine Air conditioner 13K BTU installed, and get to work.  [Electric] Brand new wiring routed, with right wires and no shortcuts in materials, gauge and routing. Half year report   211 work hour total Original problems identified when I did inspection before purchase. It was really project boat from the beginning .   Color code ( Problem addressed , On progress , Nothing done yet ] OLD BOAT, Interior after 2 years live a board [ Cleaned boat inside to remove previous owners crap, problem closed] A lot of water damage coming from weather water. [all rotted wood is removed from interior, plan to rebuild interior almost from scratch] Port side lower front chain-plate anchor rotted  [chainplate knee rebuilt, DONE] Hull gel-coat scratched in widest parts over dock [Starboard side and bow patched and primed, port-side is in plans] port side hull paint flaking in one place [not done yet] Stanchions leaking like hell [all stanchion  mounting blocks removed and rebuilt, stanchions installation in plans] Ports old and leaking [new windows bought and ready for installation, pilot work on one window is started, and window install...
