Day 206, Rainy day, Shower thermostatic valve installation, V-berth (last piece, small pillow insert), Drawers stoppers, Finisted Fixed ports, ignition switch.

Shower Thermostatic valve installed. Button is to ope/close shower, and regulator is supposed to control water temperature. so far water is running and not leaking. Short glance under sink. Connection hoses have synthetic cover, hopefully will not disintegrate fast.     Fixed windows last touches. Painted frames inside in black to mach with silicon.  V-berth. Last touch here too. Rebuilt triangle insert and made a pillow for it. Put hinges on the bottom locker at cabinet and found the locker opening may play as step for V berth. BUT, it will be nice to make a step sliding out when door opened.  Head Added handles to head door, For now they are mounted on VHB tape.  Door, View from inside Door, view from outside Replaced drawer stoppers. LPG solenoid controller, ready for installation.

Day 205, Fixed windows trim frames, finishing AC cabinet, 12V outlets installation, several small things complete.

Day 206, New Fixed windows trim installation.   Interior (small things) Fixed windows  New trim around fixed windows made out of teak and installed. each trim piece made of 4 parts. all cut on my workshop CNC out of teak wood. Only thing left here - paint the gap between window and trim.    Other things done today Made and  installed Door-cover under the AC inlet. LPG sensor - alarm installed. I installed the alarm ind found it is alarming all time. I am pretty sure I have no LPG on the board.  I bought the sensor several years ago, and it was on the boat all the time and likely was "poisoned" by paint thinners fumes. Ordering a replacement. Other small things Replaced engine overheat dumb lamp fixture (original had rubber disintegrated) .   In attempt to tight engine (ignition) switch  I broke it, by break line it was cracked for a while.  Good to get it broken at the dock ;-)   Connected compass light back, added connector f...

Day 202, New cushions - finished, Engine mounts replacing, New 4G/wifi router, little sailing.

Engine Replaced engine mounts with Ellebogen GT-SDD55 (#120450-06802)  recommended by Ellebogen sales representative.  https://ellebogen.com/us/ellebogen-gt-sdd55/ Originally I planned  to use  some hoist to lift engine, but problem on I34 there is companionway above the engine. the I think about carjack, but there not enough space to locate under engine to lift whole engine together and be able to level it.  Thanks forum. Some guy suggested to use basketball ball as lift bag. And it works absolutely well.     with $9 basketball ball pushed deflated  between carter and bilge floor 400 lb engine was lifted easy, even mode, unlike jacks ball provides you some freedom to move engine side to side.   Engine set back and tested. all works well.  New mounts in place.    Interior   Finished installation of back pillows for settees. Now we look much better  Special word about latches. Original latches was just f...

Day 201, New cushions - continue, Cabin table installation, Happy sailing.

Interior Cabin updates: Back pillows installed on starboard settee.  I decided to remove side parts of back rest, originally was on bulkhead and galley cabinets, to provide maximum length to be used and plan to ass drop off pillows.    Port side is underway ;-) Cabin table is installed. I used leg with 3-stage lift mechanism to be able to lower table to make the sleeping space.   Main cabin Irwin 34, table and starboard cushions installed.           Table lift control. Table base control originally was on the top and I had to drill hole in the table to use it. Me and my wife hate the idea to have ugly plastic button on the table center. So I removed original mechanism and made one could be used from under the table  top.  Piece of 1/4" diameter stainless rod, small plate welded to it and  couple 3d printed parts made mew control, similar to used in the office chairs. Table in is in the lowered position.   S...
