Day 43, 8/20, Sailing day, 6 Hours

 Just fun, almost.

Had a big team, Me, Son, Father and Eugene

A lot of fun.

Pleasure sail, mostly learning new for me boat. During the day, little annoying wind speed changes. Some tacks was really fun. Learned how to work with Big Genoa sail and relatively small main. Boat heels pretty easy up to 20 degrees (subjective) then keeps heel under control. Tried to beat with 100 degrees tacks successfully.

Some incidents

Had "intentional" MOB, did drop sail and motored to pick up MOB.

Water intrusion from broken PVC pipe what was routed from "chain locker" to thru-hull cockpit drain discharge, open end of broken pipe appeared below water level resulted very minor flooding (5-6 gal of water in bilge). It happens when boat had descent tilting on port side.. I have compressed rubber hose connecting thru-hull and PVC pipe to prevent leakage again.
