LPG solenoid controller

 Small project "LPG solenoid controller"

 Controller provides additional convenience and safety in LPG usage on the boat.

Functions:

• Provide sparkless switching  solenoid power.
• Protects solenoid circuit in case of cable damage (short or open circuit). 
• Limit continuous current  over solenoid to prevent solenoid coil extensive heating and significantly decrease  power consumption during LPG usage.
• Limit solenoid open valve time  (60 min).
• LPG Solenoid is controlled by single button with LED.
• Can be used with LPG gas sensors to cut gas supply if leakage happen.

Normal operation

Indicator:

• Off  - no power provided to controller.
• Low brightness, short blink one a 2sec  - solenoid circuit OK, LPG solenoid closed.
• 1 seconds ON, 1 sec OFF - solenoid activated > 10 minutes to auto-shutoff.
• Fast blinking < 10 minutes to auto-shutoff.
• 3 short blinks, then 5 sec on - solenoid activated  24 hour timer (not recommended)

    Errors indication 

• Quick blinking 1 sec - OFF one sec - Solenoid circuit problem (check wires). 

 Button functions: 

• Short press <1sec  - Toggle solenoid On /Off or restart timer (when timeout is soon)
• Press and  hold (for a second) - switch solenoid off.
