Day 180 12/07/24 TIME TO SHOW INTERIOR & Cabin sole rebuild completed, Big cleaning.
Time to show the new interior.
Welcome on the board.
General.
Almost all plywood in the interior replaced with couple exclusions - Port side part of main bulkhead, walls around the head, 3 panels left in galley cabinets and some solid wood trimming parts.
New starboard main bulkhead mounted.
Floor replaced with high quality hard PVC flooring.
All gelcoat (white) inside is slightly sanded to refresh it and clean of
"ups" epoxy drops paint and 46 years weathering, polished and waxed.
Galley
New galley countertop, completely rebuilt all rebuilt galley cabinets. Added drawer under stove cavity.
"cap board" rebuilt, shelves have roulette doors now, Big rolling out drawer added under the cockpit sit.
New combined electric panel. Icebox rebuilt to built in refrigerator. Microwave installed on the stove gimbaled shelf under the LPG cooking surface.
Plenty of 110V outlets mounted to avoid any splitters.
Nav desk rebuilt, Installed navigation equipment related electric control panel, tanks gauges, small thermal printer and 21" built-in display mounted on flip down door. All Electronic mounted behind the display.
Starboard. Closed storage area added. Shelf divided on 3 big lockers. Roulette doors sliding up.
Air conditioner outlets next to main bulkhead and near galley to distribute air more equally.
Fuel tank under settee completely rebuilt and glassed over to eliminate any leaks from the top.
Open shelves installed over settee. Water tank rebuilt and covered with HDPE plastic lid instead of plywood.
I built new teak cabin table, but it is not installed yet.

Front cabin
Cabinet on starboard side rebuilt by "inspiration" of original one. Unfortunately i had to scarify space in it for HVAC unit and air distribution.
Water tank under v-berth also rebuilt and covered with plastic lid.
For now, v-berth is used for storage for tools and materials.
Head
Head was rebuilt year ago. No magic here. All walls are glassed to floor to make real shower pan.
Porta-potty temporary installed to cover real emergency situations.

Cabin sole rebuild officially COMPLETE.
Big cleaning.
main cabin settee gelcoat sanded with 120->220->320->400->600->1200 grit paper, cleaned and waxed. Now it looks like new. big cleaning complete. Cabin is almost show ready ;-)
What the next in the interior?
Next step in the interior will be cushions redo. I have most of them, but they are really old and fabric all in stains and falling apart.
