Day 17, 3/18/22 Starboard deck fairing (cycle 2), Chainplate installation, 5 hours

 Chainplates

Chainplates installed (3 of 4 places, port side back group still need to be worked out), all through decks beveled and holes are countersinked to provide better compression to sealing, plates and bolts  sealed with butil tape. Chainplate "humps" connection refined with putty (green around the plate).

Not reworked plates. old aluminum deck plate...

Plates installed and stays connected back to plates.

All chainplates  are wrapped with paper from inside as leakage indicator.

Woodblock is glued to bulkhead to provide better support to bolts.

Only 2 bolts per plate installed, will put all as soon as I receive them. Original bolts are little short due to reinforcement was done around chainplates mount points.

Starboard deck

One more layer of putty added, sanding will be next time.

Compass and cup holder

Repaired Compass and cup holder returned back to place (thanks Father).

One more nice piece came back to the boat.

Girls together again.

I was asked to free second slip, so, girls will be rafted.
