Day 17, 3/18/22 Starboard deck fairing (cycle 2), Chainplate installation, 5 hours

 Chainplates Chainplates installed (3 of 4 places, port side back group still need to be worked out), all through decks beveled and holes are countersinked to provide better compression to sealing, plates and bolts  sealed with butil tape. Chainplate "humps" connection refined with putty (green around the plate).   Not reworked plates. old aluminum deck plate... Plates installed and stays connected back to plates. All chainplates  are wrapped with paper from inside as leakage indicator.   Woodblock is glued to bulkhead to provide better support to bolts.  Only 2 bolts per plate installed, will put all as soon as I receive them. Original bolts are little short due to reinforcement was done around chainplates mount points.     Starboard deck  One more layer of putty added, sanding will be next time.  Compass and cup holder Repaired Compass and cup holder returned back to place (thanks Father). Day 16, 3/5/22 Starboard deck fairing (cycle 1), 6 hours

 Starboard deck Put Total boat fairing compound  and sanded. At least one more filling and sanding cycle required. Chainplates Cut openings for chainplates, chainplates dry fit, filling chainplate holes and top plates in a deck with thickened epoxy. 4 chainplates holes "processed". Companion way  Opening measurements   Sailing One and half hour single hand sail run around. Not comfortable 20-25 knots gusts with average 10 knots wind.
